Our Story
Pacific Coast Landscaping began in 1979, shortly after David Nelson finished high school. A neighbour asked Dave to care for their yard while they were away. When they returned, it looked better than ever. That first opportunity led Dave to begin maintaining yards for friends, family members, and other local property owners.
What started as a small yard maintenance business gradually grew into a full-service landscaping company serving Fullerton and North Orange County. As Dave moved toward retirement, he entrusted the company to his two nieces and his longtime office assistant, who continue his commitment to personal service, careful work, and putting the customer’s needs first.
Kami Johnson
Owner & Office Management
Kami joined Pacific Coast Landscaping in 2007 and has become a central part of the company’s day-to-day operations. She earned a degree in Business Marketing from California State University, Fullerton, in 2004.
Kami manages appointment scheduling, human resources, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and many of the details that keep projects and customer communication moving. If you call Pacific Coast Landscaping, there is a good chance Kami will be the person helping you.
Michelle Garcia
Owner, Project Manager & Designer
Michelle joined Pacific Coast Landscaping in 2015. Her experience with the company includes preparing contracts, scheduling appointments, answering customer questions, returning emails, and helping keep projects organized from the office.
Michelle later moved into sales, project management, and landscape design. Her familiarity with both the administrative and customer-facing sides of the business helps her guide clients through project planning while coordinating important details with the rest of the Pacific Coast Landscaping team.
Tracy Gamache
Owner, Project Manager & Designer
Tracy joined Pacific Coast Landscaping in 2021 as a landscape sales associate. Her interest in horticulture and landscape design helps her plan outdoor spaces around the property, the client’s goals, and the conditions plants need to succeed.
Tracy is especially interested in sustainable landscaping, water-efficient design, drought-tolerant plants, and California native species. She continues to expand her knowledge in these areas while helping clients plan attractive landscapes suited to Southern California.

Felipe leads service work across the properties we care for, helping our team address maintenance needs and keep landscapes looking their best.
Salomon Hernandez
Salomon leads masonry and hardscape work, coordinating the preparation and installation details involved in durable outdoor features.
